Cedarwood essential oil is woody, dry and smoky in scent, with a very subtle hint of spice, and an aroma reminiscent of sandalwood. It's also known for its therapeutic properties with it's relaxing and soothing effects. Diffusing in the evening before bed, is a perfect choice for a good night's rest.

Directions

Aroma Diffusion: 3-4 drops per 100ml of water. Start with lowest number of drops; increase as desired.

Respiratory Support: dilute to 2-4% in a carrier and rub on the chest to help maintain respiratory functions. Some may experience irritation, always dilute and do a patch test first.

Scalp treatment: Massage your scalp with a mixture of cedarwood essential oil and your preferred carrier oil to help reduce and soothe itchy, flaking scalp. This may also be beneficial for reducing dandruff and scalp eczema.

Closet/Wardrobe Refresher: Keep moths away by adding 2 -3 drops to cotton balls and leaving them in your closet.

Trying as bug repellant I read that cedarwood Virginia is recommended as a tick repellant which is why I bought it. I do like the smell too which is a bonus.

I use at night This particular Cedarwood really helps my three year old sleep at night. I like to add it to her diffuser with some other night time oils. I also have some diluted in a roller bottle and it seems to help calm her down at night.
